Since everyone else is doing it, I figured I'd bow to peer pressure and unleash a rambling missive wishing everyone a super fantastic 2009. The pessimist in me believes that it will be more of the same, but the optimist in me notes that in 2008 my life at least moved incrementally from "sucky" to the far more desirable "slightly less sucky". Perhaps if this trend continues I may even reach the lofty heights of "Ok, I guess".

Actually 2008 wasn't all that bad considering. I went back to school, did some commissions, a couple of good movies came out, I found some pretty decent porn, not bad in the final analysis.
